i've heard a rumor that os x (10.5) will include a database file system

has anyone heard anything about what type of database code it will run
on (if it is not just a rumor).

or, has anyone heard anything about this at all?

Just rumors, with one particularly noteworthy fact: Unless something's
changed recently, one of Apple's engineers is a guy named Dominic
Giampaolo. Dominic was responsible for the file system used on Be OS,
which was, in its first public release, DBMSish. (Then it's also worth
noting that this was rapidly and significantly overhauled.)

I'm not sure what's meant by "what type of database code." If you're
asking whether such a thing would be based on any known DBMS if it comes
out, I'd say it's unlikely.

"Congurutulation!!!" - The subject line on some spam I received recently.
I have no idea what it means, but it's such a cool "word" (by which I mean
pronouncable sequence of letters) regardless.
