Force screen resolution

Hi.
I've just bought a Mac Mini and am quite new to Mac OS X. The
arrangement I have is that there is no monitor or keyboard connected to
my machine and that I interact with it through vnc. Without a monitor
connected, however, only the resolutions 800x600 and 1024x768 are
available for to choose from. I'd like to use a higher resolution from
my vnc session. Is there some way to force a particular resolution?
Thanks,
Cameron
