If I click cancel nothing happens but if I click OK a "help" page opens
up but nothing is written for a dummy like me to understand. Can
anyone please help??

Try this very easy fix. First get the latest Realplayer at
http://www.real.com and install (better you put it into Applications,
make sure you overwrite the older one)

Close (Quit) all web browsers you are running, saving your work (if
sending mail etc).

Launch Realplayer, check its "Help menu" far right, from there click
"Reset Realplayer" option.

It will do a "clean re install" automatically.
