My Quicksilver G4 was installed a few (!) years ago at which time I put
Jim's G4 on the standard 'Computer Name' screensaver. That's the one
with the grey background and the floating Apple symbol.
Been looking for a way to change the text on that screensaver, but can't
find anything in the Help associated with Desktop & Screensaver
Preferences.
Am I looking in the wrong place?
Or do I have to go back to the original G4 install disks, and if so
where do I find the place in which to change the text?
Thanks

In system preferences, under "sharing" there's an input field which you can
use to change the machine's name.

Found that, but the Edit button doesn't replace it. Doesn't take spaces
or apostrophes, either.
Any other ideas?
Following my own followup: Highlighting the name and THEN correcting it
with the Edit button works, with spaces and apostrophes!
Thanks for the help.
