I have two Mac OS 10.3.9 systems. When using afp:// access on one of the

I'm wondering if I got understand your problem. Are you attempting to
see what volumes are available on these remote systems and afp won't let
you browse all of them? If that's the case, I think you should talk to
the admin of those remote systems.
Maybe they don't want a nosy parker wandering around their systems.
Homeland Security can be like that.
Or perhaps the remote systems aren't running MacOS X Server and only
allowing limited access. Or maybe the Linux version of afp is just
fubared and you're SOL.
Without more info, you get the Standard Answer(tm):
"that depends"
Both systems are running Mac OS X 10.3.9. I control them both. I have
"Personal File Sharing" enabled everywhere. When I connect to the server
using the "Connect To Server" window in the Finder, I get the box with
the name of the server and it says "Select the Volumes you wish to
mount", but lists no volumes. I suspect something is wrong on the other
system, but I haven't been able to find anything that controls sharing
of individual volumes.
