One time I left a window open while gone and a big thunderstorm blew in and
dumped water all over my Cube. The video card got wet and even after drying
out refused to work reliably. So I took out the video card and there was
some corrosion (rain water is mildly acidic, like soda pop) that had bridged
some of the soldered terminals. So I brushed it all of with a soft brush and
it has worked ever since.
