Oh my God, that's good to know. Thanks for the direct response.
That's what I was looking for. I had no idea iTune was an MP3 player
first.

I don't necessarily need to a web site design program as all of the
websites I manage are designed manually. I am quite fluent in HTML
coding. My concern there was would I be able to load up my own web
pages, graphics, etc., into iWeb and publish (upload) them directly to
a web site. If not, the iWeb program would be set aside and I'd rely
on the ability to create web pages using a text editor and uploading
them using an FTP program. If I understand correctly, the OS X
operating system has a builtin FTP program - I need to know if it is
restricted in any way. If I can utilize iWeb rather then set it aside
that's a plus.

Ahh... now that is much clearer. Thank you for being direct. I took
at look at Transmit and as long as it can get me in the door, move me
around, allow me to create directories, upload binary and text files
then I'm good to go here.

Ahhh these sound like major work savers. We do have OS/2 web design
software but it is limited to the extent that many other web designers
rely on an MS solution to create their OS/2 web content. I would like
the relief of html (and Javascript) coding.

This is nice to read: "Do you have old VCR or Camcorder tapes? Use
EyeTV 200 to convert them to digital video for easy editing on your Mac
using EyeTV, iMovie® HD, Final Cut® Pro HD or Final Cut® Express
HD."

If it will work on the Intel iMac I would be happy to pay the steep
price. There is much talk in the Mac Forums that a great many
important Mac programs have to be reworked for the Intel iMac. There
is also a lot of talk about writing programs in "universal binary"
format. I need to get much of the vhs transfer done by mid-year. - at
least the important stuff (specialized or one-of-a-kind medical
procedures).

Thank you so much for the url and information.

That's what I keep hearing and I look foward to using it.

Thank you Garner for the assurance. That's what I need and want to
hear. If Java and Flash work for you then I shouldn't worry over the
issue.

I do too. The new Intel iMac is a charmer alright.

That's what I look forward too. Thanks once more for taking the time
and effort to be so upfront with your responses to my questions. I
wanted honest answers from real Mac users and you've provided that
nicely.
