G4 450 Sleep Problems

I was looking at a used G4 450 and it seemed like a great deal except when I
went to reboot it a couple of times the monitor on button would start to
light up and then go out and it took unplugging the computer from the wall
and rebooting to get the monitor to come on. It was on older Sony monitor?
Is this software or hardware related. The person wants $150 for a G4 450 /
256/ Zip Drive with a stock hard drive. Seems like a good deal but when
rebooting I had a hard time getting the monitor to come on consistently. Is
it worth buying?>
