I was perhaps not precise enough with the comment quoted above. What I should
have said is that the intent of Google Earth is indeed fantastic, but that
the current realization (at least as I saw it in the alpha version)
misses--at least to me. I tried looking at the various places I have lived
and received images that ranged from reasonably good to downright terrible.
