Software update in 9.2.2

Can anyone tell me if software update is still working in 9.2.2 I have not
had any updates in so long I can't remember. I'm sure OS X is getting more
updates than this as a friend had two security updates this year. He was
running maybe 10.3 not 9.2.2
Dont tell me Steve now wants to force us out of using 9.2.2 by letting the
operating system become insecure and unstable. What about people who depend
on it for their livelihood hmmm?. Wont be a good sign for things when a
class action suit is launched because people lose data when the next 9.2.2
worm appears.
Are you listening. Steve. If you sell something you need to support it. Dont
forget your legal obligations or you might have some more "obligations"
legally forced upon apple.
