It is the mirroded door G4, 1.25 GHz model. Yes it has gone into taget mode
before. In fact last night I had it in taget mode. The wrong HD was coming
up, that is when I tried to only run the one HD and then it wouldn't go into
target mode.
in the artlice you suggested I saw the following:
Tip: FireWire Target Disk Mode works on internal ATA drives only. Target Disk
Mode only connects to the master ATA drive on the Ultra ATA bus. It will not
connect to Slave ATA, ATAPI or SCSI drive.
I'll bet my problem is that the disk is partioned and the system is not on
the first partion. Think I'll try moving the files to another HD I have that
is not partitioned and make that the only HD running and see if that works.
Thanks for the suggestions.
