slow RAM (DDR 400) in PowerMac G5?

the bus on the dual 2.7 GHz powermacs is 1.35 GHz. so ideally then
you'd want memory at least as fast as that. unfortunately, DDR675 is
not made, but DDR500 is. strangely, apple ships these computers with
DDR400. does this make sense to anyone?
