Why am *I* expected to magically find the correct software to support
*your* argument? I did a bloody Google search of "nikon mac" and got
what I said I got. To fault me for that is *wrong*, and is says all
manner of unkind things about you when you do that.

Yes, it is rather amazing that Nikon doesn't really care about their
users. Hell, they even have a page on "How to Download and Install
Software"! It essentially reads as "Yeah, we suck for not giving you
something you can actually use, but here's a link to a site that will
collect your personal information (with a box pre-checked for spam) just
so you can use our software."
So, yes, Nikon is a bad company with bad software. You might find it
nifty and probably even *necessary* if you have a Nikon camera. I don't
have one, though, so I'm not forced to smile while I jump through their
hoops. Instead, I gave them feedback on how their requirements are
wrong. Let's see if they're a good enough company to take action and
get back to me . . .
