Classic questions before installing Tiger

Presently I have Panther and Classic, the latter of which I need for
FrameMaker.

I'm about to upgrade to Tiger. However, I don't see anything in the ReadMe
about Classic. (Well, there is info *about* Classic, but nothing about
specifically installing it.)

So if I do an upgrade -- that is, I do not format my disk -- will Classic
still be there?
