Partitioning hard drives is not standard practice for the /vast/
majority of Mac users because partitioning is unnecessary for the vast
majority of Mac users. You don't believe that you or anyone else in the
Usenet population represents the /typical/ Mac user, do you? The
typical Mac user has never even /heard/ of Usenet.
