Juniper VPN

My work has a new way of connecting to its VPN. I go to a web page
and Juniper Networks connects me, and then I run Remote Desktop.
I have two issues with it. Currently I need to use Safari as my
browser - I believe it needed to be Cocoa compatible, but it won't
work with Firefox nor Opera.
The 2nd issue is that I've connected twice - and both times it wanted
me to use my administrator name & password to let it log me in. I
suppose it sort of installs itself each time I run it. I have used
similar software to connect to my mainframe, and there are advantages
to it.
I guess that people who give administrator privileges to their default
log on wouldn't have to do this each time.
I wonder if other people have used similar software (and would share
their experiences), and I wonder if there's a way to tell my Mac to
let my logon always run this without having to do the administrator
sign-on.
