Disappearing apps.

I have an ibook G3 600Mhz which runs great on MacOS 10.4.11

I have a strange problem, when I click on the application icon (Golive
6.0 in this case) it starts but is totally invisible. if I do an apple-
tab, the application is listed, I can even force quit, but if I want
to open a document writing in Golive (Html) it will also disappear.
This started one day without any warning. I tryed re-installing the
program, same thing. This actually started in 10.3.
