I've had .mac for 2 years, and I've been reading about how it's being
replaced by Mobile Me. But it's less than obvious what that means
to me.
Does it mean anything to me?
Past tense. It has been replaced. It was a bit of a bumpy road over the
last week. Some functionality is intentionally gone, notably iCards and
web-access to synchronized bookmarks (but the synchronization itself
still works). Some functionality was very spotty during the conversion
but that seems to have mostly settled down. There may still be rough
patches. I think for most users the biggest impact of the switch is that
in order to compensate a little for the troubles, Apple added a month to
all existing subscriptions. Oh, and there's more storage space provided,
too.
