I have an IMAC G4 running under OS10.4. Is there a way for my to make
CD's of my photos to share with my family members who have PC,s.
Do I need to purchase software to do this or can I do it from my Mac?
Nope - it's built into Mac OS X.
I just showed my mom how to do this yesterday. It's more simple than you
might think:
1. Insert a blank CD into the computer.
2. When the computer asks what do to, choose "Open with Finder". A CD
icon appears on your desktop.
3. If you haven't already, drag the photos you want to share from the
iPhoto window to the CD icon on your desktop.
4. Double-click the CD icon to open the CD in a Finder window.
5. On the right side of the Finder window, click "Burn".
The resulting CD is readable on both Macs and Windows / Linux PCs.
