I didn't complete the registration process so I don't know how
everything would run. Even if I had, I would probably have to go through
the process again the next time I backed up with SilverKeeper (I'm
guessing).

I've seen this before on occasion, and I don't know why it happens, but
once you've gone through the setup again (and you can quit out of the
registration part to save time) all the user accounts and data are right
where they should be. Sometimes you even have to create a new account
at this point, but from there you can log out and then log into your
usual account.
