The Mac as a conduit for Windows Files.

Hello,
You might find this very interesting.
I wanted to transfer files from a Compaq Presario 5410 bought in September of 1999 to a much more powerful HP Compaq
1519UK that I bought in the summer of 2005. However I will not use the 5410 again configured for Internet access or the
1519 for that matter not configured for Internet access having switched over to using the Mac iBook I use now. Somehow
or other I figured it was ok to download Windows applications onto the iBook and then burn the app onto CD and then load
the app onto PC's using the CD. I did this with:
http://www.laplink.com/filemover/
and all went beautiifully or swimmingly well. The file transfer of 8.4Gigs is done with just a glitch that Laplink are
trying to resolve but it's a minor thing with the bulk of the job being successfully completed. For a comforting
