I'd like to purchase a second hard drive to get another year or two out
of my AGP PowerPC G4 Mac before committing to an Intel-based Mac. I'm
looking for an internal hard drive for Mac (brand doesn't matter) that
meets the Ultra DMA/66 standard and has a capacity of at least 20GB.

I acquired this computer six years ago, and it still works well.
Unfortunately, my nearest Apple reseller can't get any hard drives from
its supplier, and I've seen very few internal Mac hard drives for sale
online. Any recommendations would be helpful.

We have several Macs on our home network. I added an internal Seagate
to my Quicksilver and it works great. I also have several external
Mercury Elite firewire drives, one of which is 250+ GB and the
Quicksilver recognizes all of that as well. I got all my drives from
Other World because they had such a good warranty. The power supply on
one of the Mercuries went out and OWC had it back to me in 2 days with
no loss of data--- at their expense including shipping.
