When to buy iBook

Hello!

I am a Windows user and want to try Mac.
I want to buy an iBook ($999).
Some people advise me to wait until I can buy an Intel CPU Mac
(laptop).

My questions are:

1. When do you expect an Intel Mac to come out?
2. Do you expect iBook's price to drop soon?
3. Would you buy now or wait and buy an Intel Mac?

I know those are stupid questions.
Can you give me some smart answers, though?
