Re: When to buy iBook

Not stupid questions, very good ones that I've also considered.
I'm planning to buy an iBook or PowerBook for my son.
I suggest you do as I am and wait until the 10Jan MacWorld
announcements. I expect price drops, new models as well as more Intel
info.

I'm actually planning to buy a PPC Mac because I have so much software
for the PPC, which will run best on a PPC Mac.
Since you probably don't have an investment in PPC software an Intel
Mac may be best for you.

I expect a Mac Intel announcement, but I don't expect that Mac to be
available for some months.

Just my 2 cents worth.
