Yes, but that has nothing to do with the type/creator information, which
is metadata that can be "restored" with something like File Buddy.
If you've lost the resource fork, you can't restore it. You'll need to
download the .sit files with your Mac, or find a version that has been
encoded with MacBinary, and then use something like MacDisk to restore
it. It's been a while ...
