My original 233 is running at 400 MHZ (think I also chipped up) and OS
10.3.9 .
You might need XPostFacto (hmm I must send them some money) a really
cool apt that allows you to install OS X on G3s:

Yes there are a lot of sites about doing this and in the G3s
overclocking is a matter of moving some jumpers. iMacs are much harder
(SMTs that need to be unsoldered and resoldered) there's a DV on my
bench now that I hope I haven't killed.

I've got a Rage 128 PCI display card in mine and I am running a NEC
MultiSync XE17. I seem to remember being able to use some Mac to VGA
adapters to come off the motherboard also.
