Thanks for the reply, yep what you say is the way it **should** work.
Unfortunatley it doesn't mount as a disk, and neither Image Capture nor
iPhoto can see it.

When I plug it in to USB, the camera does "beep" to let me know that it
realizes that it is conneted to USB, however, I cannot see it anywhere.
Any other ideas much appreciated.
