Using Mini Mac with Wacom bluetooth tablet instead of a keyboard and mouse

I am a PC user looking to switch to a Mac Mini. I just bought a Wacom
bluetooth tablet for use with my PC (for Photoshop) with some handwriting
software. My PC can be started without the keyboard or mouse connected and I
can use the tablet as my only input device. Can this be done with the Mini
Mac as well? Could I skip getting a keyboard and mouse altogether? Or will I
need to keep one in the closet like I will for my PC.

I am trying to downsize to a smaller (current 2' tower), quieter (10 fans),
minimal cable system. Something I can hide in the living room. I have to
have a tablet for photoshop and don't want to have 2-3 input devices handy.
Even if they were all bluetooth. I think the Mini Mac compares favorably to
a XPC system which I was considering. I also plan on getting a HDTV to use
as a display at some point. I noticed it supports 1920 by 1080 which is the
native resolution of the 45" Sharp Aquos.

Thanks
Chris S.
