Mini. Hands down.
My #1 reason to have to junk iMac's is video failure. With an eMac,
as well, wonky video is a death sentence.
I'll second that. I've never liked all-in-one machines - if one
component goes you lose every part of the system (also the reason why I
insist on separate printer/scanner/fax). As it happens, at this very
moment there's a dead monitor on the floor next to my desk (in my
experience, monitor failures are not rare). Thanks to having a spare
monitor about the place, I can carry on working.
It's also much easier to upgrade parts of the system with separate
components. I may soon replace the CRT attached to this mini with an
LCD. At some point, the Mini itself might get replaced with something a
little beefier.
