I have only the one computer. I'll look into the router for
security, though.

Don't need an electrician. I've been wiring stuff all my life,
including a stint years ago doing CATV and phone punchboard work. Their
cable is already looped up on the pole, which is about 8 feet from the
corner of the room the computer is in. I can save their labor fee for
minutes of my own time. And I can keep their installer out of my house
;)
