Can Airtunes work over ethernet?

Devices:

ADSL Cable Modem
Cisco 831 Router + Switch
Netgear WGR614v4 Wireless G Router + Switch
Airport Express, connected to Stereo
Powerbook G4 1.66Ghz

Setup:

Cable modem is connected to the Cisco via WAN port
The AE is connected to the Cisco via ethernet
The Netgear is connected to the Cisco via one of it's LAN ports
The Netgear is NOT acting as a DHCP server
Both wireless routers are creating their own wireless network.

The Airport Express covers the first floor while the Netgear covers the second floor. Neither is strong enough to cover everything, especially with the weak Powerbook antenna. Is it possible to use Airtunes while I'm on the Netgear wireless network, through the Cisco router?

Right now I am successfully using Airtunes and browsing the web while on the AE wireless network, but when I'm on the Netgear wireless network, iTunes doesn't see the AE.

Thanks for any advice,

Van
