I am running Itunes 8 with OS 10.4.11
I am adding a new external hard drive via Firewire. I want to fee up
space on my master hard drive by moving my music over to the external.
I know how to get the music files over and also how to tell Itunes
that that is where I want new music files that I add to be stored. How
though do I tell Itunes that the existing music is now on that hard
drive and not where it used to be so I don't have a dialog box telling
me it can't find the song and placing a explanation make next to it. I
don't want to have to navigate to each song the first time I play it
after I move the files.

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.
