I had no problem with Office X other than its inability to open .DOCX
files. For the few times they were encountered, I used NeoOffice.
I used to have access to an Outlook Exchange mail server. Now that I
don't, the Mac's Outlook program can't access my saved mail offline. I
tried to import the Outlook .PST mail files into Entourage X. I found a
"PST Import Tool for Entourage" in the Microsoft web site downloads
section. But it did not work with my version of Entourage.
After updating to Office 2008, the PST import program worked like a
charm. Perhaps there are other methods of importing that would have
worked, but they would have cost something as well.
