I have a pc computer with Windows XP. Any suggestions on the easiest

all opinions, info, etc. welcomed!
You realize you posted this to Macintosh group, right? Macintosh runs MacOS X and XP, but denizens of this group know MacOS a whole lot more than XP.
Ah well....we are a lot of 'double-users'.:-)
That being said, the ION turntable doesn't have a MacOS X driver AFAIK, so if you buy it you'll be have to use their XP software to "record" the vinyl tracks to digital files, clean them up as best you can, then burn them to CD. Might run OK on XP under Bootcamp. I have no idea if it will work under Parallels or Fusion.
The ION turntable is running under the 'Core Audio Driver System' on Mac OS X, so no need of drivers. On XP you only need to install the accompagning drivers - not necessarely the Audacity recording software.
