Re: OpenOffice questions

Using OpenOffice 3 on Leopard. Every time I create a new document this program uses Print View. I want Web View. Is this an impossibility to do by default? Or is there any of getting this program to remember past settings? When you create many new documents a day this is mighty tedious. Its so easy: Remember my previous layout, set as default. Hopefully I missed something. This program has a great zoom (Command_Option_Mousewheel). Works as well as MS Word.

Haven't tried, but is the view remembered in the template? I.e. create a new document, set to web view, save as template. Then use that template whenever you create a new doc.

(By rights the view should be independent of the template, so I wouldn't expect this to work, but it's worth a shot.)
