I have no idea why you are experiencing your trouble. Just to
eliminate any problem with the actual jpg, try dragging it to a
browser window and tell us if it is the same size as the area of
screen you shot. Browsers are built to show the natural size of a pic
as default.
It's not a trouble, since it doesn't bother me. The trouble part is
the age of my printer; no drivers are available to make it usable with
my new laptop. It prints beautifully, however, and I don't intend to
replace it until either it or the G4 that communicates with it dies.
I have a printer I love too! It won't run on my G4. Apple 4/600 Laser.
I run it off an old 7300 which is connected by ethernet to my G4. I
can command it from the G4. I have to remember to turn on the 7600
(running OS 9). I use some software you can get from Apple, "localtalk
bridge" or some such name. It is such a nice printer.
Even have a lifetime supply of inkjet cartridges for a few apple
bubblejet writers that are kicking around here. Some are connected to
other 7300 and 7600 computers. I write all blackmail and ransom demand
notes on them, to appear not too swish. This frightens the toffs more
so they pay up quicker.
