I seem to have about a 80% access to video's using Safari and
whatever-the-hell I've installed along the way to make it do right.

But about 95% of the time if somebody is leaning over my shoulder
videos never seem to work out.

Today I was trying to get a glimpse of Gordon Ramsye's "Kitchen
Nightmares" from last season here:

http://www.fox.com/kitchennightmares/

In the middle rank at the bottom is a button, "See all Videos". I
click it displaying last season. Then pick, say, episode 8. I get
another display indicating the potential for viewing it. If I click on
the play icon on the left. I get nothing but the cryptic -19240
beneath the window.

Can anyone tell me how to make this work?

I note on the right of that window display is a flippy triangle.
Flipping it indicates that I have Flip4Mac WMV Plug-In (v2.2.1.11)
installed. Frankly I dont' know if that is a good or bad thing.

Video doesn't work reliably due to endless half-assed and impossible DRM
schemes. That's the way it is whether you're using Mac, Linux, Windows,
or a new Blu Ray player. It's what the TV and movie studios demand of
their distributors.

Thanks again for everybody's input.
