Re: PDF question Please

Hi all;

I use a Macbook Pro and have purchased the IWork suite with Pages.
This gives me two programs that I can use to create documents.
Assuming I have just these two word processing programs on board
please consider the following;

I write tutorials from time to time that I want to look fairly nice
when received at the other end. I can naturally simply do them using
TextEdit and they will open on PC's with no problems, and I can use
PAGES converting to a .doc that can be read on a PC if the recipient
has WORD installed.
Recently I sent a document that the recipient couldn't open because he
only had WORDPAD installed :-)
Question is this;
Assuming I'd like nice looking tutorials and that many of my
recipients use PC's, should I simply do them in PAGES, save the
document, then convert it in the print option to a PDF file and send
the tutorials using the PDF format? I'm assuming EVERYBODY has Acrobat
Reader installed.
Does this sound like the best plan to accomplish this?

That's how I do it all the time. Since people seem not be to willing to start using OpenOfficeOrg with the standard odt. format, it seems to be the only option.
