Re: The Dock keeps returning in QT's full screen mode

G'day JR :-) Forgive the imprecise answers below. I was not always
precisely sure of what you wanted to know, and it's not a bug that I can
reproduce at will. Like all my 'favourite' leopard bugs it's fairly
random.

How long does it take for the Dock to pop up?

The movie sometimes gets jerky and there's whirring of system activity
as it pops up again. Then dock pops up, unwanted, without delay. Other
times it just pops up without noticeablr system activity occuring. It
pops up as fast as it normally would if I had hiding enabled and moved
the cursor down to the bottom of the screen. I don't BTW and my cursor
is nowhere near the bottom of the screen most of the time.

Is the length of time consistent?

Of the intervals between it poping up? - random between a few seconds
and as long as half an hour if I'm lucky.

Once the Dock is showing, can you cause it to be hidden again without
quitting QTPlayer?

Yes, but it's easier to just exit and re-enter fullscreen. Sometimes
this does not work and I have to wait a minute before trying again, and
then the Dock will be hidden again. Most often I have no trouble
re-hiding it by exiting and re-entering fullscreen mode.

How, exactly, are you watching movies full screen in QuickTime Player?

Command-F
