Is there an app to auto-copy inserted CD/DVDs to a specified folder/drive??


I had a slew of data files on a now unusable external hard disk. I have
basically hundreds of CDs and/or DVDs with original copies of these
files. But, now I am faced with the hugely labor intensive and boring
task of inserting each CD/DVD and dragging the contents to a folder in
an internal hard drive.

Is there an application that will do this for me? In other words, I'd
like an app where I can specify a destination folder, and the app will
open my drive, mount the CD/DVD, copy the contents to the specified
folder (maybe in a newly created folder with the name of the inserted
CD/DVD?), and then open the drive door waiting for me to remove that
CD/DVD and insert another, whereupon it takes over and does it again?
