Anyone else cheesed off about FileMaker's incompatability with Leopard - and

Or about their stated intent that no updates will be issued for any version
prior to FileMaker 9? Or that FileMaker mobile will be dropped December 19
(with support to end June 18, 2008)?
Hmmm ... now that mobile is no longer in the picture (which is the reason I
use FileMaker), maybe it's time to take another look at the MacOS X version
of Panorama ... which I've licenced, but never used. <sigh>
Why bother? Panorama has taken YEARS to finally come out with a MacOS X
version of their database. I don't trust them to be in the same class
of developer as Filemaker. You may not like Filemaker's business
decision to drop a product and be seeking an alternative. That's your
call. But, Panorama? Seriously, they're so 90's.
Panarama is faster than hell with very large databases. I'll take that over slow and cumbersome databases. Maybe that's a passé attitude too.
