I have an educational DVD that I plan to use quite often, so I started
by making a copy of it with the purpose to watch it on my computer.
So now I have this .cdr copy, but it doesn't play. The files have VLC
icons but it won't play.
I know that a cdr image is be used to burn a new DVD, but this is not
very practical as the total space needed is 6.1GB.
Is there a way to get a copy on my computer that I can use and watch
like any other movie file?
If just want to use DVD Player to play it like a real DVD, then you can
just mount the disk image and then drag the Video_TS file on top of DVD
Player to play it.
the DVD player; when I doubleclicked the DVD player it opened with the
movie. So all you need is a .cdr image.
