Is there some particular way one should be sending this in
Mail.app to maximize the chances of it being well received on
Winboxes?

Sending out video clips via email is a terrible idea. You would be much
better off just posting the clips, photos, etc. on a web site and
emailing a link to the content to whomever you want to see it.
