questions.
If I buy Outlook (Office 2004) for Mac, can I import my PST files from
my Outlook 2003 for Windows?
The last version of Outlook for the Mac was Outlook 2001. which was and is free for downloading from <http://www.microsoft.com/mac/otherproducts/outlookformac/outlookformac.aspx?p
id=outlookformac>. It also requires Classic, which means it ain't gonna run on the OP's would-be new Mac unless he gets Sheepshaver or equivalent. Microsoft themselves recommend using Entourage instead. They do this _on the webpage where you can download Outlook_. I think they're serious.
Ups! - that's because my browser stopped loading in a search filed and only showed 'Micorsoft Outlook'
Can I sync Contacts, Appointments, Notes and Tasks to my WM5 PocketHm, by ''WM' - are you probably thinking on Windows Mobile? - here I'm not sure what to answer, 'cause I don't use any type of PDAs myself. But thee is a sort of 'work-around' through a combination of Parallels Desktop + fx. a Windows XP, where you can install WinXP on an Intel-based Mac - or through VirtualPC + WinXP on fx. a used G5. In this way you always can read your mobile files from a Windows installation.
PC?
Or you can wait until the new Mac OS x 10.5 Leopard arrives. The Leopard has a built-in installerapp for installing a bootable Windows system on an Intel-based Mac - BootCamp, - so you can install nearly any Windows version on an IntelMac. - And here I'll strongly recommend that you avoid any version of Vista. Get fx. an OEM version of Windows XP or XP Pro SP3.
Entourage will handle that kind of thing. Go to Microsoft's site for more info.
I know, but Entourage is a piece of crabware, so sometimes I think a 'real' Windows installation will work better...
I have now made a new and better search, and it seems as if there are lots of solutions to handle Outlook files in various Mac apps - even Apple Mail...

Can I use OWA to read my Business Email?Hm, if I recall right, 'QuickMail Office 3.5.2' can import OWA and other business mails.

OWA is web-based Exchange mail. Any current browser, including Safari, FireFox, and Opera, can handle it.
Yes, but the advantage with QuickMail is that it also can work offline...
