Have been noticing on my system, Cyberduck's main browser window
is faded text and says Disconnected left bottom even though it is
clearly uploading a file. It comes about this way: the prgm is
disconnected from the server when I grab a file and drop it on
the window anyway. A different window, the Transfer window, gets
active and is pointedly uploading file. But the browser window
has not really woken up in spite of it seeming to pass a task
through, like a sleepwalker. Wakes up only when the upload is
complete.
some (naughty) ftp servers prevent you making many connections at a
time: in such a case while up- or downloading, CD may have its main
window disconnected?
Except that in the case described, there was no more than a
single connection. Anyway, who knows, it is a mere curiosity
perhaps.
