I am buying a used Nokia 3650 BT phone which is listed as isync
compatible. Running a G5 iMac with 10.4.9. Opened to applications and
tried to boot isync to check it out (v. 2.4) but it won't boot up,
hiccups for a second and doesn't do anything, and it has that generic
pencil ruler icon with it. Any suggestions.
It's probably crashing. Look for an iSyc crash log in
/Users/you/Library/Logs/CrashReporter. Post the most recent entry in that
log here if you want someone here to look at it.
There is no isync crash log. I don't think that it is opening enough to
crash:-( The app info does recognize that I tried to open it today. I
have a last modified of 3/13/07 which is when I think I went from 10.4.6
to 10.4.9. Had no other problem with the OS update.
If you create a new user account and log into it, does iSync crash in that user account?
