Being a !programmer, I have no clue how to go about incorporating
the API into stuff for the Mac, but I hope people get interested
Real Soon Now. :-)

*Not* being a programmer, I have no clue...

Garmin still has a statement in their FAQ that says "In the future,
Garmin will offer a solution so Mac computers can work with Garmin
devices in 2007." I hope this is not that solution. I'm not interested
in a MacGPS Pro solution in which I have to find my own maps and learn
technical details about cartography. I want with Garmin's Mapquest, or
a feature-equivalent alternative, and I have trouble envisioning a
developer jumping on the Mac with that.
