Can you use the disk tool to restore to a larger harddisk? Then repair
might be possible.

no i cant even see the disk...
in Disk utility it appears but i cant restore / fix / use first aid...
nothing ....its all greyed out
so i cant even open it to delete a file!!
very frustrating!
