Neither of your proposal does work.
The problem is that all these methods save photos with their resource
fork file, which, when burned to a CD/DVD, cause my TV DVD player to see
two files, the main file which is shown, and another mute and black
file, which is shown too, but within a blank screen.
I could resolve this problem copying all the photos with ditto --norsrc like
$ ditto --norsrc start/directory end/directory
of course into Terminal (but this is not a problem to me, used to use a
Linux OS).
Then, I could burn the end/directory with pleasant results. Now my TV
DVD player sees just __only__ photos.
I didn't mean to get a backup copy of iPhoto pictures, nor to make a
simple backup of some albums, just as you simply suggested.
