Simple website - what to use instead of Dreamweaver

I have Dreamweaver MX 6.1
It seems it does not run anymore on Mac OS X 10.4.9 (Intel).
Anyway, I do not particularly Adobe's approach, having killed FrameMaker
on Mac etc.

What would you recommmend instead of it for one or two simple,
(hopefully) clean webistes (www.heusser.com)?
I do like adhering to standards, so the site can be read on a mobile
phone too etc.
I know a little bit of HTML and CSS, but not much. I appreciate the what
you see is what you get approach if possible.
